BIOGRAPHY

Sergio is a Mexican actor born in Chihuahua. He starts his acting development at the University of Fine Arts in Juarez with the teacher Sergio Salas by the first time but His passion to learn more about acting led him to settle in Los Angeles where he starts his studies at the Mauricio Ochmann
Acting studio, under the training of actor and teacher Arturo Prato and at the Frida Kahlo Theatre with the Teacher Ruben Amavizca-Murua.

Sergio continues his studies at Anthony Meindl´s Actor Workshop again with his friend and actor Arturo Prato. After that at the Patricia Sturla Studios with his friend and teacher the actor Tony Garza who told him about the Stella Adler Academy of Acting, School where Sergio will be part of later on with the recognized and very talented Venezuelan Director and teacher Elia K. Schneider.

At that point Sergio was doing different projects for TV, Theatre and Movies in English and Spanish, sharing credits with actor Mark Wahlberg in the movie TED 2 for FOX, then he was part of the show SNOWFALL on FX directed by John Singleton also for the TELEMUNDO series MILAGROS DE NAVIDAD, working with the great actor Johnny Depp on a ASAHI beer Commercial, and many other different projects.

Sergio is now back in his country where he is decided to start all over again and make a career in Mexico, creating and writing new stories where he can show the reality of the society of his time in order to show it to people and let them make their own decisions about the reality of life.

Sergio came back to Mexico and understood that the transition would be hard and slow but he would never give up and somehow he started all over again. He started teaching acting to young people at his town in Chihuahua Mexico at the rooms of Panorama Arte, a place in town where artists can explore their craft.

Sergio acted beautifully in the play ¨Decisiones¨ by Javier Cano. Did the short film ¨Regresa¨ by Fatima Torres and was part of the play ¨La vida es Sueño¨ by Calderon de la barca playing ¨Segismundo¨. After Covid Sergio produced and acted in the short ¨Somos la Razon¨ by Aaron Alonso, filmed in Juarez winning the Award for Best Actor in the FECCH The Chihuahua Cinema Festival in 2023.

Garcia now lives in Mexico City where he is been working in TELEVISA, Commercials, short films like ¨Katrinas¨ by Licano Films, ¨Hermes¨ by Gerardo Oñate, ¨Corre Sonido¨ by Mercedes San Roman and many more. He joined in movies like ¨The Wing Walker¨ by Alonso Alvarez and actor Omar Chaparro. Currently Sergio is still writing and working on his own Projects.
